I’ve talked about the Vitorio Sprouter before, as it is one of the most popular seeds sprouters on the market (as well as one of the most inexpensive). What I haven’t mentioned is the sprouting kit – which includes the sprouter (of course), sprouting seeds and a cool sprout-growing booklet.
This kit is about $10 more than getting the sprouter alone, but it’s very convenient if you don’t yet have seeds. You get enough seeds to grow over 3 pounds of sprouts (including a nice little salad variety). It also makes a nice gift package for someone who wants to get started growing their own sprouts.
The Vitorio is easy enough to use for beginners, but it provides enough space for people interested in growing sprouts to eat on a daily basis. Cleaning is a snap, and there are no high-tech accessories that you have to worry about breaking or replacing. Sweet and simple.
